While going through the Oxford interview question list, I came across a question that really caught my attention:

Among the greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide (CO₂) is one of the most critical contributors to global warming. 💭The most fundamental way to reduce it is to increase the Earth’s carbon sinks — things like planting trees and expanding ecosystems that can naturally store carbon.

When I was little, there was a film I really loved — Five Feet Apart. I still don't know why I was so obsessed with 'blue romance'. Yeah, the romance films that will make you cry like The Fault in Our Stars or The Notebook. (By the way, don't trust me too much. I also cried while watching Frozen.)

When we think of stem cells, many of us imagine secret experiments with embryos or zygotes, often sparking huge ethical debates. I remember that when I was young, there was a stem cell clinic in my town. It seemed mysterious — almost like a confidential organisation. But here’s the twist: actual stem cells are literally everywhere in our lives, making up most of the cells in our bodies. They’re not as mysterious, secretive, or even gory as they might sound.

In March this year, researchers at the University of Michigan released a study suggesting that changes in gene expression caused by microplastic exposure in Fathead Minnows 🐟 could be inherited across generations. In other words, even offspring that had never been exposed to microplastics themselves still showed the same gene expression changes as their parents 🧬.
